Does The King’s Head, Richmond have parking?

The King’s Head Hotel in Richmond has a limited number of parking spaces which can be pre-booked for a fee on a first come basis from as little as £10 per day (depending on stay length). Find out more about our car park on our parking page.

Is there parking in town?

You are able to park in the Market Place overnight from 6pm-8am for free. Outside of these hours, to park in the Market Place you will require a parking disk which can be found either at the hotel or in any of the shops in the town centre. The disk will allow you to park for 1 hour for free. There is also a large pay and display car park at Richmond Coach Park which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel, post code DL10 4AR. Are you dog friendly?

Your four-legged friends are very welcome to visit the King’s Head. Dogs are allowed in all areas excluding the hotel’s main restaurant.
You are able to dine with your well behaved dog in our bar, lounge areas or outside on the decking in the summer.

There is a charge of £15 for up to two dogs, per night.

Accessibility

As the building is nearly 300 years old we are unable to fit a lift into the hotel. Our restaurant and bar facilities are all on the ground floor.
There are no ground floor bedrooms however guests are welcome to contact the hotel to request a lower floor.

What time is check in and check out?

Check in time is from 3pm on the day of your arrival. We cannot guarantee an early check in, however, if your room is ready before 3pm you are welcome to check in early at no charge.

Check out is by 11am on the day of departure.
